The ESTRO Skin and Soft Tissue Focus Group is an interdisciplinary group comprised of Radiation and Clinical Oncologists, Medical Physicists, and Radiation Therapists who have a specific interest in the management of skin and soft tissue neoplasms.

Due to variation in clinical practice, the Focus Group aims to jointly harmonise radiation therapy practice and disseminate knowledge with standardisation of radiation therapy planning and delivery techniques. Rare cancers are common in both tumour sub-types and can be a challenge to treat; this ESTRO Focus Group will outline the principles underlying treatment and optimal schedule of treatment in instances where the evidence base is sparse.

Cancer treatment is multi-faceted and this ESTRO Focus Group will engage with fellow ESTRO Committees and partners in biotechnology, pharma, surgical, dermatology, and medical oncology specialisms so that relationships across these disciplines are closer. The Group serves as an expert support and advice to ESTRO Councils and Committees and is open for collaborative activities, advocacy and engagements with internal and external stakeholders.
