The ESTRO Skin and Soft Tissue Focus Group is an interdisciplinary team comprised of Radiation and Clinical Oncologists, Medical Physicists, and Radiation Therapists with a specific interest in the management of skin and soft tissue neoplasms.

Given the variation in clinical practice, the Focus Group aims to harmonise radiation therapy practice and disseminate knowledge by standardising radiation therapy planning and delivery techniques. Rare cancers are common in both tumour sub-types and can be challenging to treat. This ESTRO Skin and Soft Tissue Focus Group will outline the principles of treatment and the optimal treatment schedules in instances where the evidence base is limited.

Cancer treatment is multi-faceted, and this ESTRO Focus Group will engage with other ESTRO Committees, as well as partners in biotechnology, pharma, surgery, dermatology, and medical oncology, to foster closer relationships across these disciplines. The Group serves as an expert resource and advice to ESTRO Councils and Committees, and is open to collaborative activities, advocacy, and engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
