The joint membership is based on special agreements between ESTRO and other societies:

  • Non-European National Society;
  • European Young National society (or by extension, the young members of a RO European National Society);
  • Oncology societies outside of the RT field

Membership benefits are granted for a reduced price to individual members of the partnering societies. The membership fee is either covered by the annual fee paid by the partnering Society or through online individual registration.

Rules and regulations

In order to eligible, you should be a young member of one of the following European Young National societies(or by extension, a young member of a RO European National Society):

  • Associazione Italiana di Radioterapia Oncologica Giovani (Young AIRO - AIRO GIOVANI): The cost of  membership is covered by the annual fee paid by the partnering Society and the individual registrations are submitted to ESTRO via the National Society
  • Israeli Society for Clinical Oncology and Radiotherapy(ISCORT): The cost of membership is covered by the annual fee paid by the partnering Society and the individual registrations are submitted to ESTRO via the National Society
  • Belgian Society for Radiation Oncology (BVRO/ABRO): The cost of membership is covered by the annual fee paid by the partnering Society and the individual registrations are submitted to ESTRO via the National Society
  • Spanish Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology (SEOR): The cost of membership is covered by the annual fee paid by the partnering Society and the individual registrations are submitted to ESTRO via the National Society
  • Young Romanian Radiation Oncologists Group (YRROG): The cost of membership is covered by the annual fee paid by the partnering Society and the individual registrations are submitted to ESTRO via the National Society

In order to eligible, you should be a member of a non-European National Society in the field of radiation oncology, which has signed a membership agreement with ESTRO.

  • Australasian College of Physical Scientists and Engineers in Medicine (ACPSEM): The fee of 45,45 EUR is covered by each member. Please contact the ACPSEM secretariat for more information.

  • South East Asian Radiation Oncology Group (SEAROG): The fee of 45,45 EUR is covered by each SEAROG member upon online membership registration (SEAROG membership)
  • American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM): The fee of 45,45 EUR is covered by each AAPM member upon online membership registration (AAMP membership). AAPM members that are not physicists from the US or Canada need to send a message to membership@estro.org in order to be registered.
  • Sociedade Brasileira de Radioterapia (SBRT): The fee of 45,45 EUR is covered by each SBRT member upon online membership registration (SBRT membership)
