The speakers will share their experience abroad during a short- or longer-term period, and especially how these experiences benefited their career and which professional and personal challenges they had to face. Exciting career opportunities often require re-location, but present both professional and personal challenges that can represent a significant obstacle. Moving abroad also forces individuals to adapt and develop better communication skills, as well as gain a deeper understanding of how others think. During this session, personal experiences of moving with spouse and children or moving to another continent with a distinct culture will be shared.
