The ESTRO Physics Committee is pleased to announce the 8th ESTRO Physics Workshop 2025: Science in Development! Join us in Toulouse, France on October 23-24, 2025, for two days of engaging discussions, networking, and collaboration with experts, researchers, and industrial developers.
We know that the busy schedule of the annual congress often leaves little time for in-depth discussion of cutting-edge physics topics. That's why the physics workshops were created—to provide a focused, interactive environment where challenges can be tackled, ideas can flourish, and new collaborations can emerge.
Unlike traditional conferences, ESTRO Physics Workshops are neither lecture-based meetings nor teaching courses. Instead, they prioritize engagement and innovation, fostering scientific and professional networking within the ESTRO physics community and beyond. Participants register for a single topic and actively contribute through discussions, short presentations, and brainstorming sessions. These sessions are designed to lead to concrete outcomes, including research papers, surveys, and ESTRO-endorsed projects.
At the end of the workshop, each group will develop a plan for future collaboration giving you the opportunity to play an active role in shaping the future of medical physics.
