Session

Overview: This session will focus on the actual challenges of patient positioning. The implementation of SGRT to daily clinical routine, based on the ESTRO Guidelines and an international survey on current practice will be presented. Patient preparation for MR-guided online adaptive SBRT for prostate cancer will be highlighted, including the differences in patient education and positioning between oART and conventional treatment. A research of an upright positioning system will be introduced. The first experimentations will be discussed by how the patient workflow were defined and how the immobilisation devices were designed. Also, the first clinical experiences will be shown in the pelvic and head and neck region.
