Biography

Prof. Filipe Moura is a senior radiation therapist, worked over 20 years in Radiation Oncology and Higher Education Health Schools in Lisbon. He is past Chair of the RTT Committee within the ESTRO along with a formal member of Scientific Council, the Advisory Committee on Radiation Oncology Practice (ACROP) and National Societies Committee. Prof. Moura is the past board president of the Portuguese Association of Radiation Therapists (ART) and member of several steering group for continuous professional development, code of ethics, professional regulation and national Qualifications for Radiation Therapists. As part of development of qualifications and professional development at a European level, Prof. Moura enrolled with the SAFEEUROPE (Safe And Free Exchange of EU Radiography Professionals across Europe). He is a full member of Young-Early Career Investigator Radiation Oncology Scientific Council (Y-ECI-ROSC) at EORTC. Prof. Moura is working as an associate professor at Portuguese Red Cross Higher Health School Lisbon (ESSCVP Lisbon), as radiotherapy specialist in the BSc. Hons Medical Imaging and Radiotherapy, with research mainly focus on higher education, best practice and clinical protocols optimization for IG-SBRT/SRS coupled with SGRT technology. He is currently the Coordinator of International and Mobility office at ESSCVP Lisbon.
