Traditionally, tumor control probability (TCP) and normal tissue toxicity probability (NTCP) models are used to predict treatment outcome in radiotherapy. However, these concepts are typically built on large cohort sizes and only take into account a few (high-level) clinical or dosimetric parameters. This symposium will focus on the various next steps that can be taken to improve outcome modelling using concepts going from cohort to patient, to organ and even voxel-level modelling. Such concepts, frameworks, imaging and analysis techniques as well as practical examples will be discussed.
