All the hassle with haematopoietic systems
Bartłomiej Tomasik, Poland;
Dorota Gabrys, Poland
The session will provide a concise overview on a role of radiotherapy in various haematological malignancies. It will start with the discussion on the role of Total Skin Electron Irradiation in patients suffering from non-T-cell lymphomas with extensive skin lesions (Prof. Blamek). This will be followed by the lectures describing a paradigm shift for target definition and dose prescription in radiotherapy of lymphomas with a particular focus on primary mediastinal B-cell lymphomas (Prof. Specht and Prof. Held). The session will end with a thought-provoking lecture featuring the interplay between radiation and CAR T-cell therapy in lymphoma management (Dr Niezink). After the lectures, time for audience discussion will be also provided.
