Welcome to Agora 2025

After two successful editions in 2012 and 2016, ESTRO is proud to announce Agora 2025, an initiative dedicated to empowering early-career radiotherapy professionals to advance their discipline.

Agora 2025 is more than just a meeting; it’s a vibrant platform for aspiring leaders to collaboratively  envision the challenges ahead in radiation oncology. Participants will reflect on societal and health trends impacting the discipline while prioritising  diversity and inclusivity, ensuring that varied perspectives are represented.

Aligned with ESTRO's strategic objectives, Agora 2025 aims to cultivate long-term engagement with emerging leaders, inviting them to embark on a shared journey towards progress and patient-centered innovation in radiotherapy through 2035.

Eligibility to apply

• Be an ESTRO member
• Have less than 10 years of post-training experience or be currently in training
   

How to apply

To apply, please:

1. Complete the online application form (link below)

2. Attach a pdf document including your brief CV (max 1 page) and a list of peer-reviewed publications, starting with the most impactful

3. Attach a recommendation letter from your current manager or from your mentor.

Applications open on Monday 20 January 2025

Application Process

• Number of participants:
  A maximum of 20 participants will be selected through an open application process.
   
• Selection Citeria
  The Agora Working Group will evaluate applications based on a set of criteria per question of the application form, and considering ESTRO's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) principles and strategic objectives to ensure balanced representation across the radiotherapy community.
   
• Notification
  Results will be announced by Monday 24 February 2025, with selected candidates notified by email.

Note: Travel and accommodation costs for selected participants will be covered by ESTRO.
