We are delighted to invite you to the 2025 GEC-ESTRO Workshop, which is taking place on November 19-20, 2025, in Belgrade, Serbia. This year’s theme, “Brachytherapy – strength through open mind”, reflects our ongoing commitment to advancing image-guided brachytherapy through innovation, collaboration, and education.
Organised by the GEC-ESTRO Committee, this annual workshop has established itself as a premier platform for networking and knowledge exchange among all GEC-ESTRO working groups:

- BRAPHYQS
- Breast
- Gastro-Intestinal
- Gynae
- Head and Neck and Skin
- UroGEC
Each working group will present and analyse site-specific aspects of modern image-guided brachytherapy, offering insights into the latest advancements in the field. This year the focus in on areas left and right of brachytherapy. Our interactive format fosters lively discussions, and strong professional connections.
In keeping with the GEC-ESTRO spirit, our workshop will feature:
- Multidisciplinary discussions, encouraging diverse perspectives and collaboration.
- Industry participation, integrating cutting-edge technology and innovation.
- RTT involvement, reinforcing the essential role of radiation therapists in brachytherapy.
