Dear Colleagues,

 

You are kindly invited to join us for the 34th Annual Congress of the Romanian Society for Radiotherapy and Medical Oncology/ 9th National Congress of the Romanian Cancer Societies Federation ‘From research to daily clinical practice ‑ sharing experience’, which will be held from 2-5 November 2023, in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.

 

The keywords are multidisciplinary, innovation, research and sharing of experiences among all professionals involved in the diagnosis, treatment, care and support of our patients.

 

The scientific sessions will be dedicated to both research and practical approaches, and will cover topics such as radiation therapy, molecular targeted therapy and immune-oncology, biological treatments of specific tumours and multidisciplinary treatment in all tumour localisations. Resident's Day is a tradition, as are the symposia of physicists, radiation therapists and nurses. There will be a special session this year on how paediatric radiation therapy is organised across Europe.

 

Sessions addressed to patients and caregivers will be focused on issues related to psycho-oncology, early detection of cancer, genetic counselling, nutrition and communication, and will aim to offer space for open discussion, support and the sharing of experiences.

 

Education, progress, innovation and the multidisciplinary approach have always been our values. It is a precious legacy that we proudly, responsibly and enthusiastically carry on.
