The World Congress of Brachytherapy will take place online from 6 to 8 May 2021. With the advantage of a fully digital platform, you will be able to catch-up on sessions at your convenience as the sessions will be available as of their scheduled time. The digital platform will allow you to take part in discussions forum sessions so you can interact with speakers and network with other delegates. The platform will remain open for on-demand content until the end of June. After the virtual platform has closed, congress material will be made available in the E-Library for attendees.

 

In the Auditorium the symposia, teaching lectures, proffered papers sessions, and debates will take place. To guarantee interaction with faculty during the sessions, you will be able to to ask questions to the speakers via text-based chat.

In the Poster Area, you can browse through the digital poster library. The best posters are highlighted and supported by a recorded audio presentation, you will also be able to connect with the authors.

Visit the virtual Exhibition Hall to learn of the newest products and services within the field of Brachytherapy via product demos and live chats with our industry partners. The exhibition hall will open as of 5 May allowing for more networking opportunities with our sponsors. Do not miss the Satellite Symposia to hear of their latest developments.

Contouring workshops
With the WCB 2021, ESTRO proudly offers three virtual contouring workshops; Prostate Cancer, Primary Vaginal Cancer and Cervix Cancer. The workshops are targeted towards junior clinical or radiation oncologist who want to improve their target and OAR contouring skills on the tumour site that is treated with brachytherapy.  Senior specialist are of course welcome as well as this is an opportunity to refresh and validate your skill and knowledge in the area.  The workshops are held during the weeks before the WCB congress dates and they are held in the evening allowing you to attend the workshops without missing any WCB sessions or your clinics.
