ESTRO 2020 (28 Nov- 1 Dec): blending a live programme and digital participation
In order to give members of our community the best possible experience, ESTRO 2020 will take place in Vienna both as a live and an online congress.
Attendees can therefore choose the modality of their participation, either registering to the live event in Vienna or to the full congress, streamed digitally.
Thanks to this blended approach, all registered attendees will be able to access the event, in a new format with content before, during and after the actual Congress:
- Digital pre-congress Sessions – These sessions will take place digitally as a build up to the ESTRO 2020 congress. A detailed calendar will be published in September.
- ESTRO 2020 Congress – Attendees will be able to opt for a live participation in Vienna or for a live-streaming of the full scientific programme via a new and dedicated digital platform. Q&A and polling software will ensure the possibility to interact with the speaker.
- Webcasts – following the event, the sessions’ webcasts will be available on the myESTRO portal to all registered participants.
- A Virtual technical exhibition, will take place during ESTRO 2020: the industry partners will be showcasing products and novelties, and will propose digital satellite symposia.

For the participants registering to the live event, taking place in Vienna from 28th November to 1st December 2020, the registration fee will include:
Pre-congress sessions
- Access to the offering of digital sessions building up to the ESTRO 2020 event.
ESTRO 2020
- Access to the annual congress on site, its scientific programme and networking opportunities with peers and experts.
- Access to the poster area, to the poster sessions and to the digital posters platform
- Access to the Exhibition Corner on site: the dedicated space to meet live with industry delegates.
MyESTRO portal
- Access to the webcasts of the event via the myESTRO portal.
Virtual Exhibition
- Access to the Virtual Exhibition and the digital industry symposia.
For the participants registering to the online event, streamed live from Vienna, between the 28th November and the 1st December 2020, the registration fee will include:

- Access to the digital poster platform and the opportunity to interact with the authors digitally.

Additionally, 3 online pre-meeting courses will be organized digitally before the congress. The pre-meeting courses will combine online sessions and pre-course material.
