Overview: The ESTRO core curriculum (CC) in Radiation Oncology has been endorsed by 28 National Societies. Now, after endorsement, the real work starts. How do we make the intentions behind the CC come to live? The symposium will explore the motivations and effects of a CC and the factors that influence the implementation into daily practical work. How do we situate the training into the complex system of healthcare and how do we apply adult learning principles into daily routines? The importance of creating a safe learning environment, using work-place assessment and individualized training are some of the topics to be discussed.
