Kathrin Kirchheiner is a psycho-oncologist and clinical psychologist with a PhD in clinical oncology, who is currently employed as associate professor at the Department of Radiation Oncology, Medical University Vienna, Austria. She is part of the EMBRACE studies group on image-guided radiotherapy in cervix cancer (RetroEMBRACE, EMBRACE 1, EMBRACE 2) and coordinates research on adverse events and patient reported outcomes, with a strong clinical focus on vaginal morbidity and sexuality.
