Colien Hazelaar is currently working as an Innovation Physicist at Maastro, Maastricht, the Netherlands. Colien holds a Master’s degree in Technical Medicine, which was followed by a Ph.D. at Amsterdam UMC, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. During her Ph.D., she worked on the validation and implementation of software for markerless positional verification during delivery of high-precision radiotherapy on a conventional LINAC, using kV images acquired by the gantry-mounted imager. In her current position at Maastro, she works on the implementation of innovations into daily clinical routine.
