Dr Robert Rulach is a final year clinical oncology registrar in the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre in Glasgow, Scotland, sub-specialising in lung cancer. He completed his general medical training in London, UK and Dunedin, New Zealand. He completed a PhD on radical thoracic re-irradiation for non-small cell lung cancer, which included work on dose/toxicity and tumour control probability models. He is the principal investigator of a qualitative study exploring patients’ attitudes to re-irradiation and has contributed to forthcoming national guidance on re-irradiation.
