Young Scientists’ Forum (YSF) Poznań  is the 14th conference organised for young scientists who appreciate the significance of interdisciplinary research and want to showcase their scientific activity. The YSF believes that the inclusion of young scientists in the oncologic community through the organisation of such events as this forum constitutes a huge chance for them to be noticed and acknowledged.

The forum, which will take place in Poznan, Poland, on 24 October 2019, is open to radiation oncologists, medical physicists and radiobiologists who are aged 35 or younger. Residents in training, young specialists, and PhD students are also welcome.

The forum offers an important investment in future oncology through the encouragement of the work of young scientists and support for their first independent projects. The forum offers awards that enable participants to take part in conferences and courses, while contact with experts from the competition jury contributes to the development of scientific cooperation in subsequent projects, as evidenced by traineeships that have been offered after previous forum gatherings.

Each young scientist who is involved in research is encouraged to submit an abstract. Abstracts should be submitted in English. All abstracts will be evaluated by an international jury.

The best presentations and discussions will receive one of the awards, which include full reimbursement for the author’s participation in their chosen European SocieTy for Radiotherapy and Oncology (ESTRO) course or congress.

The deadline for abstract submission is 22 September 2019.
